How the daily house works
Every date has its own house. Floor 1 is an easy puzzle, floor 2 a medium one and floor 3 a hard one, and the three floors always come from three different games. The games rotate over six days, so every game reaches every floor regularly and no two days in a row feel the same.
The puzzles are fixed for the date: everyone who opens the house on the same day gets the same three puzzles, in the language of the page. The date follows your own clock, so a new house appears at your midnight.
Runs of lit days
A day counts when all three floors are lit. The run shows how many days in a row you have done that, and the calendar shows the last four weeks: a full window for a lit house, a partly filled one for a day with one or two floors. Your run is kept in this browser only — there are no accounts and nothing is sent anywhere.
Missed a day? The run starts again, but your longest run stays on the board. Every numbered room of every game is open at any time on the games pages if you want more.
