The house is open to anyone who wants to play, free of charge. Playing here means you agree to the few rules below.

What you may do

Play as much as you like, link to any page, and share room numbers with friends. Printing a puzzle for your own use or for a classroom is fine.

Word lists and content

Our word lists come from open projects and remain under their licences — CC BY-SA 4.0, CC BY 4.0, MPL 2.0 / LGPL; the about page names each source. Texts, drawings and code of the house are our own work; quoting is fine, cloning the whole site is not.

No guarantees

Every room is checked by machine before it is published, yet the house comes as is, with no promise that it is free of errors. A word list may hold an oddity or a mistake — point it out and we will review it. We accept no liability for anything that follows from using the site, lost progress after clearing browser data included.

Changes

Like any house, this one gets renovated now and then. When games, rooms or these rules change, this page is updated along with them.
