No analytics, no adverts, no cookies

This site loads no analytics, no advertising, no social buttons and no fonts or scripts from other companies. It sets no cookies. Every file comes from this domain.

What is stored, and where

So that a half-finished room is still there tomorrow, the games keep a small record in your browser's local storage: rooms in progress, times and results, which rooms and daily floors you have lit, plus your sound and day-or-night settings. That record lives only on this device; it never travels to our server or anyone else's, and we have no way to read it.

Wiping the site data for gridwordhouse.com in your browser removes it completely; each game's menu also has a button that resets its statistics.

Server logs

The server that hosts the house and the delivery network in front of it may briefly log technical request details — an IP address, a time, the page asked for — to keep things running and fend off abuse. Nobody here turns those logs into visitor profiles.
